Home Support Office Scheduler/Home Care Aide

*Must have Care Giving or C.N.A experience*

Greenspring is looking for a Home Support Scheduler/Home Care Aide. This is a dual role. The Home Support Scheduler is responsible for taking referral calls, all data entry related to the entire OASIS process, computer generated reports, securing medical eligibility for the initiation of services, tracking MD orders, ordering medical supplies, preparing forms for clinicians, and participating in Certified Home Health Accounts Receivable functions. This role will also work as a Home Care Aide on an as needed basis at our community. The Home Care Aide's responsibilities carries out social, personal and non-medical care tasks and who may also provide assistance with housekeeping and other related supportive tasks to a Resident in his/her place of residence. The aide may perform other tasks permissible under State scope of practice and regulatory guidelines.


1. Handles request for services either by phone or in person. 
2. Assists in the scheduling of Home Health Aide services in coordination with the Clinical Manager and the Home Support Scheduler.
3. Maintains client information database for state/federal statistics.  
4. Reports employee/client issues to the Clinical Supervisor. 
5. Assists in the monthly billing process. 
6. Assists Clinical Supervisor on payroll issues.
7. Responsible for the OASIS input process, including validation, checking and correcting errors, transmission, and education. 
8. Secures medical eligibility for all new clients prior to service. 
9. Assists in the intake of referral information. 
10. Processes intake referrals in coordination with the Clinical Supervisor. 
11. Works collaboratively with the Clinical Supervisor to track and secure all MD orders.
12. Provides Clinical Supervisor with Plan of Care Certifications due for clinicians. 
13. Compiles and generates reports for the Clinical Supervisor and/or Administrator.
14. Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor, orders medical and office supplies and maintains inventory. 
15. Prepares medical documents for clinicians (i.e. admission, discharge packets).
16. Assists with the processing of RAPs and final claims to adhere to corporate billing benchmark standards.

Knowledge of Medicare Home Health Standards.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to supply superior client, family and staff service.
Ability to effectively work with a diverse employee work group.
Ability to organize and manage time effectively.
Computer skills required with a strong data entry background.
Working knowledge of computer software: word processing and home health data entry. 

High school diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
Experience in working in a home care environment.
