CNAs and Med Techs- IMMEDIATE HIRE- COVID Response Team Members Needed- ALL SHIFTS

HHHunt's Spring Arbor Senior Living is seeking qualified Med Techs and CNAs to join our team on ALL SHIFTS. We understand that many families have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Med Tech is responsible for managing the medication administration program in accordance with state regulations. They direct Resident Assistants (RAs) and help coordinate services to residents under the direction of the Resident Care Director. The CNA/RA will provide resident care duties under the supervision of the Resident Care Director and the direct supervision of the Supervisor-In-Charge (SIC) and/or licensed nursing personnel.  Both the Med Tech and CNA will also assist in maintaining a positive physical and social environment for the residents. Must be 21 years of age and show a genuine concern for and strong interest in working with seniors.

Responsibilities for MED TECH:

  • Document and review medication administration, refer to residents’ charts and administer medications according to physician’s orders
  • Ensure that medications are being administered at appropriate times and order residents’ medications in a timely manner
  • Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals regarding residents’ medications, treatments, and/or therapies
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care
  • Respond to resident emergency call system
  • Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities for CNA: 

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care
  • Prepare residents for meals, snacks and activities
  • Assist residents in dining room including serving meals and clearing tables
  • Respond to resident emergency call system
  • Observe, document, and report to Resident Care Director or their designee any changes in residents’ condition
  • Communicate with residents and family members in a polite, professional manner
  • Maintain required resident care documentation per State regulations and HHHunt Policies and Procedures
  • Transport residents when required
  • Other duties as assigned
