Cert Nursing Asst (CNA)-Traumatic Brain Injury
What You Will Do:
Demonstrates competency in performing nursing tasks delegated by a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse consistent with the mission and values of Kernan Hospital and in accordance within the scope of practice, professional, and regulatory standards. Accountable to the licensed nurse, patients and families for processes and outcomes delegated during an episode of care. Serves as a fully engaged member of the interdisciplinary patient care services team. Participates in cost effective strategies that optimize patient outcomes.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Successful completion of a CNA or GNA program or equivalent work experience as a nursing assistant. Six months of direct patient care experience in a health care facility preferred. Effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Ability to organize work priorities, perform several duties simultaneously and function in stressful situations. Ability to learn and use computer systems
