Medical Assistant
Work Location: Harbor City, CA
Job Summary/Description
We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to come and join our client located in Harbor City, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various administrative and clinical duties under the direction of Radiology Technicians. Specific duties may include but are not limited to scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, obtaining medical histories, and preparing patients for procedures. Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Consenting patients for procedures (mammograms/ultrasounds)
• Scheduling appointments and providing follow up phone calls
• Checking in patients
• Prepping patients for scheduled procedures
• Assisting with general workflow within the facility
Minimum Qualifications
• Certified Medical assistant
• Experience in Radiology a huge plus
• Ability to travel to 6 office locations if coverage is needed
• Excellent Customer Service abilities
