Geriatric Nursing Assistants provide basic nursing care to patients and residents within the scope of the nursing assistant responsibilities and performs basic nursing procedures under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.

Eligibility to work in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) within the State of Maryland, per COMAR regulations, REQUIRES active certification as a Geriatric Nurse Aide (GNA) through the Maryland Board of Nursing.
GNA full-time and part-time positions are available on the 7-3 and 3-11 shifts. GNAs provide basic nursing care to residents within the scope of the nursing assistant responsibilities and perform basic nursing procedures under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.

Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program. Good standing in the state registry is required.
