Take medical history and record vital signs of patients. Prepare patients for minor surgeries post written consent. Administer Injections, Collect and process specimens Collect pertinent information prior to visit for complete detailed evaluation. Competency in refills, referrals, authorization. Front Office operations to include scheduling, Insurance verification and collecting A/R
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Taking vitals, chart prep, medication reconciliation and assisting with minor procedures
+ Give immunizations and vaccinations
+ Greet patients and visitors, answering phones
+ Assist with scheduling, member outreach and referrals
+ Assist with multiple providers
+ Ability to work both front and back office
+ Willing to work overtime if warranted
+ Bilingual in Spanish
**Required Qualifications:**
+ High school education or equivalent experience.
+ Graduate from an Accredited Medical Assistant program OR 3+ years of military trained medical assistant experience
+ 2+ years of experience working in private practice or Urgent Care setting
+ Bilingual in Spanish
+ Reliable means of transportation to travel to another clinic if needed
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Strong customer service
+ Inventory management experience
+ Excellent written and verbal communication
+ Team player and able to work independently

+ Computer Experience / Data Entry
